Santa Monica Beach, CA (10/27/2012)

After visiting the Bergamot Station Arts Center, we went to Santa Monica Beach. Santa Monica Beach is located along Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California. It is 3.5 miles of well-maintained California beach and has parks, picnic areas, playgrounds, restrooms…etc. and over 300 days of sunshine a year plus a nearly constant gentle ocean breeze. We sat by the sea, enjoyed the gentle ocean breeze and saw many people swimming and taking a sunbath. What a comfortable life!

Santa Monica Museum of Art, SMMoA (10/27/2012)

We went to the Santa Monica Museum of Art, SMMoA. It is an independent non-collecting art museum located in Santa Monica, California, and exhibits the work of local, national, and international contemporary artists. The Museum was founded in 1984 by Abby Sher. Museum Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 11 am - 6 pm and closed Sundays, Mondays, and all legal holidays.

In the Bergamot Station Arts Center, there were many galleries and we saw a variety of contemporary work. Those artists used different kind of media to express their creation and I was inspired by many amazing arts. I enjoyed and gained a lot!

The 20th annual Pumpkin Festival at Cal Poly Pomona (10/20/2012)

Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival opened on October 20-21 (8:00am-5:00pm) this year, and it only opens 2 days every year. Today, we drove to Cal Poly Pomona to enjoy the 20th annual Pumpkin Festival. When we arrived at the Festival, there were plenty of pumpkins everywhere. It was amazing that I’d never seen such many pumpkins in my life. We took pictures and had a lot of fun in the Festival and bought a big and beautiful pumpkin. We saw some families bought over 5 pumpkins! We enjoyed a lot today and will come again next year!

Night Market in Old Town Monrovia (10/19/2012)

There is a night market in Monrovia’s Old Town every Friday night, from March through to Christmas, and the public parking lot is free. We strolled along Myrtle Avenue and saw many stalls in the market; it was quite interesting. Before went home, we took a rest in front of Monrovia Library. We had a leisure night and felt comfortable.

We strolled along the San Diego big bay sidewalk and saw the Midway Aircraft Carrier. It's a giant and historic naval museum. We saw a lot of fighters and helicopters on the deck.
