The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is a unique feature and the Yellowstone River is the force that created the canyon and the falls. The canyon is approximately 24 miles long, between 800 and 1,200 feet deep, between 1,500 and 4,000 feet wide. There are several hiking trails on both the north and south rim that offer spectacular views of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. It is breathtaking!
