Bekersfield Central Park (11/22/2012)

Mill Creek is a linear park located in Bakersfield, California. It runs along the Kern Island Canal between Golden State Ave. and California Ave. in downtown, although there is a gap between 19th St. and the BNSF railroad yard. The center of the park is Central Park, the only park in downtown. The park contains a lake with spray fountains and the “Mill Creek” bridge. It is also home to the Bakersfield Museum of Art. Mt Baldy, at 10,068 ft. (3,069 m), is the highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountains, located in San Bernardino County, California, United States on the border of Los Angeles County. It snowed yesterday and there was 1 inch of fresh snow, so things were white and looked good.

Norton Simon Museum (11/2/2012)

The Norton Simon Museum is an Art Museum located in Pasadena, California, United States. Today, we went to Norton Simon Museum again. Admission is free for all visitors the first Friday of every month from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
